Feb. 10, 2010. 2:34 p.m. after a second round of shoveling and plowing the streets.

You usually can see the train tracks from here just on the other side of the white building.

Sigh. One day, summer will come again.

I enjoyed the Washington Post's sense of humor about people trying to drive in whiteout conditions: Snow is falling and flakes are on the road.

"I'm liking this snow-pompadour look on top." Hilarious and true. As stupid as it is, sometimes after digging your car out of a snow bank and getting the front and rear windows clear, you just can't bring yourself to tackle the top! Ha. Good luck with the snow!
